WHERE NATURE AND RELAXATION MEET
Ca’ Bevilacqua
About us
Loretta & Vidmer Bevilacqua
Loretta & Vidmer.
An incredibly voracious and enthusiastic couple as only true “Romagnoli” can be. Welcoming and friendly, they love authentic and bohemian environments which offer beautiful and seductive charm. The qualities which will make you feel at home.
Loretta, a dreamy perfectionist and escapist.
A whirlwind of creativity and energy. While globe-trotting and visiting antique markets, she´s discovered a host of tiny treasures, each one with its own unique story and today these pieces make Ca’ Bevilacqua a very special place. With an old linen canvas, she produced a quaint lampshade. With a metre of mesh fabric, transformed a table setting into a dream.
Vidmer, a traveller by instinct.
With roots firmly planted in tradition, but at the same time creative and easy-going and occasionally even a bit bonkers. Like the time in 2013 when in the Garden Room he decided to plant an Oriental Climbing Vine, not in a vase but in the ground and today that vine has totally taken over a complete wall and part of the ceiling. His love for Africa dates from the 1970´s when he travelled from Tunisia to the Ivory Coast, covering part of the trans-Sahara desert route in a mini bus and using local transport where and when possible. Today he looks after the wildlife in Cà Bevilacqua´s nature reserve and with all of the animals, he’s established an extremely special relationship.
